Rotary Peace & Unity
The Banks County Community Is Invited, Students, Parents, Teachers, Rotarians, Interactors. A statewide gathering of Rotarians at the Rotary Peace Poles across Georgia. In downtown Homer, a newly eracted Peace Pole will be dedicated. A 20-min gathering and short ceremony will include:
- The artistic talents of the classes of Banks County Elementary School will be featured on the Peace Pole
- Select poetry on the topic of Peace & Unity from the students of Banks county Middle School will be featured.
- Guest speakers from the community will be share thoughs and visions of a peaceful world.
