Gainesville Chicken Festival

The Gainesville Chicken Festival is the Official Chicken Cook-Off for the State of Georgia.  The Gainesville Chicken Festival celebrates our city's status as the Poultry Capital of the World,  The poultry industry has contributed billions to our city's economy.  The city of Gainesville holds this annual chicken cook-off and awards the Chicken City Cup to the best chicken in town!  Proceeds benefit the Gainesville Chicken Scholarship and the Your're the Reason Scholarship, administered by North Georgia community Foundation.
